Threads

If all my memories were erased, I would still find you.

I don’t need the recollection of your face to know that my soul would reach for yours. YOU are the reason the stars burn, the tide turns, the seasons shift: The gravity that anchors me, the force that keeps the world spinning.

Without you, it falters. Nights shatter with the silence of what’s missing, the air becomes heavy, and the wind yearns for your presence.

But we have always found each other, again and again. In every life, story, and thread of existence, my love for you defies time itself.

When we met, the world held its breath. It was as if creation paused to witness what it had made. I didn’t know your name, but yet recognized you like a melody I had once danced to.

Every moment since has been stitched into the tapestry of who we are: the warmth of your hand in mine, the gentle weight of your head resting on my shoulder, and the way your presence fills      every     hollow part of my soul.

Even in death, I have sought you. I have searched through lifetimes and across the edges of forgotten dreams to bring us back together. When we are apart, the universe mourns. Mountains crumble, rivers overflow, stars extinguish themselves. And when we are together again, the earth rights itself, spinning around the sun, the cosmos remembering its purpose.

Our love is not merely a story to be told; IT IS the thread that binds the world together. When I wake, I do so for you. When I close my eyes, it is you that lingers in the darkness. If the fates tried to sever us, they would find their threads undone by the force of what we are.

Even if time were to erase itself, if the oceans dried and the stars fell from the sky, I know this: I would still find you. My love would ripple through the void, bending even the laws of the universe to be near you.

I love you with a ferocity that terrifies me, a depth that swallows me whole. I have loved you in ways the world cannot contain, in lifetimes that are but whispers of what we are. If the world exists, it is because of you. If I exist, it is because of us.

And when this life fades, when the curtains of this world close, I know we will meet again. I will find you, in the ashes or in the stars.

For I will always love you.
